The Ronan FlexDetector offers the newest design of flexible detectors, using a non-hazardous, non-flammable, scintillating fill-fluid, which is doubly encapsulated and protected by an outer sheath of armored conduit. This newest flexible design offers unique advantages in reliability, sensitivity and temperature limitations over other designs, while the lightweight construction eliminates the need to use cranes and rigging for installation. It's ideal for use on horizontal or spherical vessels, or parts of the vessels where space is limited.

In comparative testing of fill-fluid and fiber bundle designs, the FlexDetector measured 2.4 times greater output at low-level exposure rates from 0.05 mR/hr to 0.9 mR/hr, making this the safest and most reliable solution for your radiometric level measurement applications. FlexDetector is available in lengths up to 23 ft. For longer distance level measurements, up to six detectors can be summed in a single Ronan X96S computer, for an overall continuous level measurement of 138 ft.
