ASCO Valve IS Series 3-Way and 4-Way Intrinsically Safe Solenoid Valves

• Designed Solely for Intrinsically Safe Areas, with Properly Approved and Sized Current and Voltage-Limiting Safety Barriers
• Acceptable for Use in Hazardous Locations, as Classified by the National Electrical Code: Classes I, II, and III, Division 1, Including Groups A-G
• Electronically Enhanced Solenoids Have Efficient Cartridge Operators and Non-polarized Coils with Triple Redundant Blocking Codes
• Capacitor Stores Power Required to Open the Valve, While Blocking Diodes Prevent It from Flowing Back into the Wiring in Hazardous Area

For pipe sizes from 1/4" to 1" NPT, with pressure ranges up to 150 PSI. Available in universal (for piping normally open or normally closed, field selected) or normally closed.
